Job Description
MCS Group is currently working alongside one of Ireland's leading and most innovative flexible packaging companies to recruit a Business Development Manager.
Reporting to the Sales Director the successful candidate will be extremely motivated and target-driven with a proven record of delivering successful and profitable results.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and highly motivated individuals to work for a leading manufacturer of flexographic printed packaging with two sites and a key customer based throughout the island of Ireland.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities whilst managing and growing an existing portfolio of accounts
- Be visible and interactive with current and potential customers
- Report and forecast regional sales pipeline/achievements to the Sales Director
- Work closely with clients, establishing and developing relationships, and guiding them through new product projects
- Serve as a link of communication between key customers and internal teams, liaising with operations and other stakeholders to ensure excellent level of customer service
- Resolve any customer problems or complaints in an efficient and professional manner
- Remain up to date with market changes and competitor activity while delivering sales initiative and campaigns
Essential Criteria:
- 4+ years field sales and business development experience ideally within the packaging industry
- Experience delivering revenue targets
- Forward thinking, looking to create exciting new business opportunities
- IT skills and proficient in MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers, business partners, and internal stakeholders
- Full driver's licence
