MCS Group is excited to be working with a rapidly growing, forward-thinking organisation that provides innovative digital solutions for SMEs. We are recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join their team and play a pivotal role in driving business growth across Cloud & IT Services, Cyber Security, CRM, and ERP solutions.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to take ownership of generating new business opportunities and building long-lasting client relationships. Collaborating with the Marketing Team and Sales Leadership, you will play a key role in implementing the commercial strategy while enjoying the autonomy to develop your sales pipeline and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a database of prospects, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Use Account-Based Marketing (ABM) to target high-value accounts and create tailored client experiences.
  • Conduct outreach via calls, emails, and networking events to engage potential clients and generate leads.
  • Understand client needs, identify pain points, and propose tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Service Delivery, to ensure a seamless client journey.
  • Accurately document all interactions and manage opportunities within the CRM system.
  • Consistently deliver results in line with sales targets.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in business development within the technology sector.
  • A strong ability to engage with clients, identify their challenges, and present solutions.
  • A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems (Dynamics CRM is a plus).
  • Flexibility to travel across Northern Ireland and GB when required.
