AWS IAM Architect

MCS Group is excited to be partnering with an innovative technology team in Dublin as they look for future leaders to join their growing technical hub.

As an AWS Cloud Security Architect you will be focused on ensuring that Identity and Access Management processes are followed in accordance with AWS best practice, architecting InfoSec solutions for both internal and external clients and taking the lead on Cybersecurity re-certification efforts.

(Flexible Hybrid - Dublin City Centre)

Responsibilities:

• Design & Implementation of Secure Cloud Environments

  • Architect and deploy security solutions in alignment with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • Ensure security strategies integrate seamlessly with business objectives and existing infrastructure.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to build scalable, resilient, and secure cloud environments.
  • Review and approve architectural designs, ensuring they meet security and compliance standards.

  Identity & Access Management (IAM) & Cloud Security

  • Serve as the go-to expert for AWS IAM and cloud security best practices.
  • Continuously assess security risks and proactively implement enhancements.
  • Keep up with the latest cloud security developments and share insights with teams.
  • Advise on IAM governance, least privilege principles, and access policy enforcement.

Qualifications/experience required:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Cloud Security Architecture capacity
• Strong expertise in AWS and specifically AWS IAM.
• Strong interesting in keeping up with the latest news in the Security domain.
• AWS Associate Level Certification is essential
• Happy to be on site in Dublin when required.
• Stamp 4/EU Citizenship is required as sponsorship is not provided for this role.
