MCS Group is proud to work alongside a growing client in the AV and Digital Communications company based in Dublin, as they seek to build out their expanding team.

We are seeking two Mid-level engineers and one Senior AV Engineer to come on board to serve an ever expanding client base.

The Role

As an Audio Visual Engineer, you'll work in teams of 2-3 on diverse projects, ranging from installing bespoke AV systems to setting up Microsoft Teams classrooms. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions to clients across Ireland's east coast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead AV system installations, including programming, configuration, and commissioning.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and perform maintenance to ensure peak system performance.
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to deliver exceptional results on time.
  • Offer on-site support and end-user training for AV systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of technical activities and client interactions.

What My Client is Looking For

  • Experience in an AV-related role, ideally with exposure to educational or commercial AV setups.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in AV control systems like Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Q-SYS, and Cisco.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV cabling standards.
    • Troubleshooting and problem-solving expertise.
  • Certifications: AV certifications (e.g., CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I) preferred.
  • Requirements: A clean driving license and willingness to travel regularly.
