Bookkeeper

A well-established and highly regarded company in Northern Ireland are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bookkeeper as they undergo an exciting phase of expansion. In this role, you will spearhead all bookkeeping activities while supporting the Managing Partner.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial documents and reports.
• Arrange invoice payments and monitor financial transactions.
• Conduct bank, digital payments received, and cash reconciliations.
• Manage sales, cash, and general ledgers.
• Oversee credit control and payroll (weekly and monthly).
• Handle monthly tax returns.
• Provide weekly and monthly financial reporting.
• Prepare weekly MI reports and handle relevant ad hoc duties.
• Act as the first point of contact for the Managing Partner.

Bookkeeper Requirements

• 4+ years accountancy experience
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office.
• Transactional finance experience incl. sales & purchase ledgers, credit control etc.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, manage deadlines and workload.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.

Bookkeeper Benefits

• £25,000 - £30,000 (Pro Rata)
• 16.30pm finish
• Company pension scheme.
