Recently declared number 2 in NI’s top 100 companies, NI Water was established on 1 April 2007 as a government owned company with the Department for Infrastructure as the sole shareholder. NI Water is responsible for the delivery of water and sewerage services in Northern Ireland with approximately 840,000 households, businesses and agricultural users connected to the public water supply and 669,000 households and businesses connected to the public sewerage system.
NI Water is committed to contributing to the economic development of Northern Ireland and to producing a cleaner environment while improving the quality of life of its workforce and the local community.
