Our Managing Director, Mairead Scott, has over 25 years’ experience in delivering recruitment solutions to client partners across the private and public sector in Northern Ireland. She is a respected recruitment professional with deep networks, a strong and established profile, and a reputation for delivering an exceptional service to clients and candidates alike.

Mairead, successfully launched and embedded MCS Group’s Professional Services business unit in 2015, delivering permanent, temporary and interim recruitment solutions across specialist verticals such as Accountancy & Finance, Banking & Finance, Sales & Marketing and Legal. With full responsibility for the day to day running of the business unit, she was responsible for the development and implementation of a robust business plan and mapping the successful infiltration of the business into key market segments.

After identifying a need for a consultative recruitment partner to deliver exceptional recruitment services across the Business Support sector, Mairead launched MCS Group’s sister company, Honeycomb Jobs, in 2017. As Managing Director, she had responsibility for the development of business strategy and the day to day operational and commercial performance of the organisation. She grew Honeycomb to become Northern Ireland’s leading business support and administrative recruitment provider.

In January 2024, Mairead was appointed Managing Director of MCS Group and assumes responsibility for the strategic direction and operational delivery of Northern Ireland’s leading specialist recruitment agency as it enters new markets and a new phase of growth across Northern Ireland, Ireland, Great Britain and the United States.
